Q. How do I use the site for Fiction & Non-Fiction extracts?
A. - Login to the site
- Click the Fiction & Non-Fiction button
- the site then takes you through simple steps to upload your Fiction & Non-Fiction extracts
- Click the Upload Extract button, paste max 3,000 words
- Choose your favorite genres
- Click Start a New Assignment – this assigns you 3 brief extracts to review & rate 1st 2nd or
3rd
- This earns you a Review Credit to be reviewed and rated in return
– click Get Feedback next to your extract to attach it
- then your own extract is assigned with 2 other members to be reviewed and rated in return
- the site's aim is feedback exchange to develop writing further
- a minimum of 15 reviews are required for an extract to qualify for the charts below
Q. How do the Fiction & Non Fiction Charts & Benefits work?
A.   Monthly Top Ten Charts
- On the 1st of each month the highest rated ten extracts display
- they are assigned to all members who like their genres
- to add to feedback and grow reader audiences
- the  first Top Ten will display on the 1st September 2024

Bestseller Chart – Every 3 months
- Every 3 months the  highest rated ten extracts from the previous 3 months display
- They each receive feedback from an Editor from leading publisher Pan Macmillian
- These may differ from the previous 3 months Top Tensas  based on the whole previous 3 months
- the first Bestseller Chart will display 1st November after first full 3 months

Q. Is it free to join Rated Writers and what are the benefits?

Yes, it is free to join Rated Writers and to get feedback to widen your reader audiences.

Fiction & Non-Fiction  Top Ten Charts –the highest rated Top Ten extracts are showcased in our these monthly charts and assigned to all members to widen audiences. The first Top Ten charts will be displayed on 1st Sept 2024

Fiction & Non-Fiction Bestseller Chart‘ – the ten best extracts from each 3 month period will receive feedback from an Editor from leading publisher Pan Macmillan. The first Bestseller Chart will be displayed on 1st November 2024 after first 3 full months of ratings.

Poetry & Song Lyrics – Members exchange reviews to give and receive creative feedback
The highest rated Top Ten each month are assigned to all members.
The Bestseller Chart is the highest rated for every 3 months to showcase on site

Competitions  As well as members developing further through feedback and the charts, the site will run regular Fiction & Non-Fiction competitions, and also Poetry & Song Lyric competitions
